Sandra Brügger completed her basic commercial training at a software company in Sursee (LU). This was followed by several years in sales as a field service key account manager, including the corresponding further training, before she was drawn towards marketing/events. Sandra Brügger found the perfect opportunity to combine her creativity and digital affinity in the online marketing sector. After starting a family, she moved to a small radio technology SME in Menzberg (LU) where the focus was increasingly on PR/communication. Due to some personnel restructuring, more and more HR topics were added to the focus area. In the meantime, the growing family moved to the partner's home in Siat (GR) to enable the children to learn the Rhaeto-Romanic language. This was followed by training in human resources and communication as well as several hours of commuting between Graubünden and Lucerne. By chance, Sandra Brügger heard about a vacancy at Bergbahnen Brigels AG. As a passionate skier, she had always wanted to work for a mountain railroad from a young age, so she seized the opportunity and introduced herself. From 2022, Sandra Brügger was able to take on the management of personnel and a number of digital projects in Brigels. After 1 1/2 years, she took over as Head of Administration and became a member of management. From 1.2.2026, Sandra Brügger will take over the overall management of Bergbahnen Brigels AG as CEO following the departure of Ivo Maissen.
